WHAT IS ABIDE?

Abide is a Spirit-led school devoted to deep encounters with Jesus through the Word, the Spirit, worship, and authentic community. It’s a place to cultivate lasting rhythms of intimacy, intercession, and leadership rooted in both the supernatural and everyday obedience.

WHERE & WHEN?

Duration: 8 weeks, full-time, 12th January – 8th March

Location: Primarily Woodseats / Beauchief / Dronfield area

STRUCTURE

Monday – Thursday: 4 hours of gathered time each day, including worship, opening the Scriptures together, input from local and guest leaders, prayerful reflection, and more. And then further daily opportunities for practical outworking through hands-on missions and service in the local community. You’ll step out to share the gospel, love your neighbours practically, pray and prophesy over people, read the Bible with those who don’t yet know Jesus, and help them begin their discipleship journey.

Wednesday evenings: Home group

Fridays & Saturdays: Generally rest days

Sundays: Plug into the life of The Ark in its various expressions

MISSION TRIP

Included in the cost is a 6-night mission trip to Glastonbury, where you’ll receive input from the Iris Glastonbury team and have the opportunity to share Jesus in a very different UK context.

There will also be an optional overseas outreach for up to 2 weeks after the school along with others from The Ark. Please note, this is not included in the cost - it will be extra.
